Our skilift is open from February until beginning of May. We have two lifts:
Directly from the back of the hotel you can take the childrens lift "Thildeheisen" and stay here if this is the right place to be for you and your family, or continue to the mountain lift which takes you up on 1100 m above sea level. Find more information here (in Norwegian) https://www.grotli.no/skiheis/...

Do you prefer cross-country skiing? We promise prepared tracks in "all" directions starting exactly outside the hotel.

For the family - Summer activities

Hiking in nearby area, short or long hikes. We can suggest routes which suites you and your family's ambitions. Remember you are allready on 920 meters and do not have to walk far to be "on the top of the world".

Go swimming in nearby lakes. We cannot promise warm water, but its refreshing and exotic! What we can promise, is crystal clear water fresh from the nearby glaciers.

Fishing: In Skjåk kommune there are 200 lakes, almost all with lovely red trout. We sell fishing cards and know where to go.

What about bicycling? Take a ride on a quiet gravel road in the nearby area. Bring a lunchbag and stay out all day!
